It has been a VERY rainy May and June.
Rainy and gray, gray and rainy, day after day.
I like to think of myself as an optimistic person with a sunny disposition and a quirky, fun sense of humor…
but all this gray and rain is gettin’ to me!
So today I went to the Grower’s Outlet in search of reminders that it really is summertime.
Here’s what I found…
Local berries…not flown in from California!
I’m really quite surprised there’s been enough sun for there to be any berries ripe yet.
Still at the Grower’s Outlet…an unusual find in a geranium hanging basket…a bird nest with five little birdies!
Oldest granddaughter was thrilled to get to touch one of them after he hopped out of the nest.
Talk about Sunshine!
Then, this evening on my neighborhood walk look what finally appeared…
HALLELUJAH!
HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!
Elizabeth
