Have you seen what Pottery Barn is selling?
Yep. Straight from some warehouse somewhere and straight into the Pottery Barn limelight. And for a pretty penny too.
Well, mine didn’t come from the P.B. catalog, but from my under the stairs “house decor I might use again someday” closet.
I’ve carted that thing house to house for over twenty years now!
So, I dug it out and tried sitting it nonchalantly around the house as shown in the catalog…nah…
it needed to be put to good use, instead of just lazing around.
Just goes to show you, hold on to something long enough, and it comes back in style…
just like bell bottoms.
Still following,
Elizabeth

thank you for the sweet comment and cute idea
ReplyDeleteNoooooo! NO bell bottoms! Ha ha! :)
ReplyDeleteI REALLY like this - especially with those lovely striped towels!
It looks great and I love how you used it for your pretty striped towels!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I love old crates and boxes. I have some around my desk for storage, and outside for plants to sit on. Enjoy yours. Pretty kitchen! Blessings.
ReplyDeleteOh, now I'm really kicking myself! I had a wonderful old pop crate that I bought many years ago (early marriage) but I sold it shortly after we moved into this house. I've often wished I still had it and now I really regret that decision! Yours is so cute with your stripe-y towels. What a great idea!
