Hebrews 12:2 (New Century Version)
Let us look only to Jesus,
the One who began our faith and who makes it perfect.
He suffered death on the cross.
But he accepted the shame as if it were nothing because of the joy that God put before him.
And now he is sitting at the right side of God's throne.
Still following,
Elizabeth
Elizabeth, I love the picture and such a wonderful scripture passage to share with it. You might want to join the others over at Scripture and a Snapshot. (Didn't know if you have met Katie yet.) The link is on my page on the sidebar.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Your picture reminds me of a shadow on the wall of our church a few weeks back; the window panes caught the light so that a perfect cross was reflected on the back wall of the sanctuary. Such a sweet gift from the Father!
ReplyDeleteLove it !!! GOD is so good !!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a question how do you put your still following Jesus on your picture
So beautiful. It is an unfailing cross, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteBeautifully illustrated scripture. Love the cross and God's Word. Hope you have a great weekend and that God's presence permeates your great church. Blessings to you, sweet friend.

This is wonderful! And that's so cool to have an everyday reminder there on your floor! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat more can we say. After today's wonderful service, and as I listen to this wonderful song, and read this all inclusive scripture, I am in tears, ..............at His love, at His goodness, and in gratitude we live in this God-blessed United States of America and can (still) post openly about our Lord and Savior. "If my people" still brings results. His Word is forever faithful - for He is His Word. Thank you for bringing us all together into the beauty of Christ in You, the Hope of Glory Elizabeth.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome. Love the fact that God's light shone in on your floor to remind you of HIS SON the light of the world! AWESOME!
