1 Corinthians 1:9
God is faithful
(reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on);
by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
faith·ful
–adjective
thorough in the performance of duty
true to one's word, promises, vows, etc.
steady in allegiance or affection; loyal; constant
reliable, trusted, or believed.
adhering or true to fact, a standard, or an original; accurate: a faithful account
No profound personal thoughts today, just overwhelmed with the faithfulness of God.
What if He wasn’t?
What if He was every bit as fickle and inconsistent as I can be?
He is faithful, even when I’m not.
Steady as a rock.
My Rock.
So very thankful today that He is a faithful, faithful God.

The word I kept thinking while reading this was "Amen!"
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing and bring glory to Him through your thankfulness!
Nothing profound you say. And then you follow it with the question, "What if He were not faithful?" "What if He were as fickle as I?"
ReplyDeleteI'm so grateful that HE is God, and I am not.
I also love your gratitudes today. They made me smile.
