We are told that there is the possibility of snow tonight in the Portland Metro region.
In spite of that forecast, the signs of spring are all around.
One of those signs is the primroses for sale in front of every store,
from the grocery store, to the drug store, to Walmart…
primroses here, primroses there, spring-y primroses everywhere!
To bring a little bit of spring home for only a dollar is an affordable and cheery Simple Pleasure!
Still following,
Elizabeth

It's lovely how these flowers are beautiful to look at, yet beyond that, and held in those little blooms, is the message of hope of a spring.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are so pretty! I love how the sunlight is casting down rays on them.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers and the photos - and you!
bless you..Trish
First flowers of Spring! Got to love that.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Elizabeth. I wish I could find them here for just a dollar. They're much higher than that. They are such pretty bright colors and no better way to bring some cheerfulness to the ongoing wintry weather.

So pretty!
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely flowers, I didn't know what a primrose looked like even though I've read about them many times!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty these are and the candles flickering beside them...welcome spring.
ReplyDeleteI feel like such a dolt because I have always heard of primroses but never knew what they were. I've probably seen them but never knew.
ReplyDeleteI like them. I would like to buy some and scatter them around myself.
woke up to snow and cold again but seeing your flowers reminds me spring is just around the corner....thanks.
ReplyDeleteLove the spring like picture. I love primroses too. Just bought a red ceramic pitcher at the dollar store and put yellow flowers in it from Hobby Lobby. It sure brighten up the decor in my kitchen which is in red too. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your primose photos - and your arrangement! Need to look out the window and see if my primroses on the porch are covered with snow. Strange - signs of Spring and Winter hits again!

As I write this, I know you have snow in the metro area....my son just sent me a photo of the snow on the car in SE, and the word that it's a snow day for the school where he works as a crisis intervention coach. I'll take snow on rural roads, instead, and be glad I don't have to drive in Portland today. ;-) Your primroses are so beautiful and you've staged them wonderfully.
ReplyDeleteHi Elizabeth,
ReplyDeleteSpring and Primroses really do go together.
Your arrangement is beautiful.
God Bless
