Gray and rainy day
Warm spring sun please hurry up
Winter has been long
Flowers brought indoors
Reminding me of the hope
Spring will surely come
This spring I will plant
Lavender and rosemary
I hope they will grow
Just having a little haiku fun today,
Elizabeth
I hope your lavender does especially well. I love mine and it smells so wonderful. Good luck on your planting. :)
ReplyDeleteI love haiku! Your words and pictures are beautiful as always.
ReplyDeleteI love you expressions of Haiku!! Yes, as I type we are under a "tornado warning".....My little granddaughter caught the most gorgeous butterfly yesterday, brought the wonderful thought of spring and new life to mind!!!

Haiku is always so much fun to verbalize and say aloud, isn't it, Elizabeth? I remember writing it in junior high school, trying to get the rhythm correct. :)

ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful, and I think the pictures and haiku seem to go so well with your song for some reason.
ReplyDeleteI promise, spring will come. It came here in the twinkling of an eye this year. I feel as if I want to grab it and hold on with all my might.
Wonderful photos! So pretty!
