There are so many things we can get entangled in that aren’t obvious outward sins…
wrong attitudes like unforgiveness, worry, doubt, fear, unbelief, legalism, selfishness, pride, greed, jealousy, envy…
oppressive emotions of discouragement, depression, heaviness, hopelessness.
Jesus paid the price so we can live in freedom,
unencumbered,
unfettered.
In Psalm 124 David says that his soul is like a bird that has escaped from the snare,
and then he gives us the how…
“My help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”
The Creator of All wants to help us live free, to fly free.
Still following,
Elizabeth

ReplyDeleteThis was written JUST for me. I'm working my way through forgiveness and peace from a difficult situation with church women. I'm coming out the other side with a better attitude, but it isn't easy.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these truths. So much lately has been captivating my time spent with HIM. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
