While Papa spent the day with our grandson and took him to a Seattle Mariners baseball game,
I spent some girl time with our oldest granddaughter…
shopping in Bellevue…
…checking out all of the interesting things in Anthropologie…
…being silly…
…no girl time is complete without a little sweet treat…
…and for a perfect ending to the day, the rain stopped so we could enjoy some time together by Lake Washington.
Spending time with my Sunshine Girl is most definitely a Simple Pleasure!
Still following,
Elizabeth
your granddgt is beautiful and no better way than to spend it relaxing with someone you love.
ReplyDeleteThat last shot is lovely ... so sweet.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect day. :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful pleasure. You make me wish for an Anthropologie store in our area. Or maybe not...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great day. She is a cutie. (Anthropologie looks like a great place to roam.)
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures. I long for that kind of simple pleasure, but I guess I should just be thankful for the ones I've been given...:)
ReplyDeleteYour granddaughter is adorable. I love spending time with mine. The oldest is 11 and we love to spend special time together. Like eating a cupcake!
ReplyDeleteI miss my baby girl! So glad she is having fun with her Nana.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a wonderful time with your granddaughter...No greater simple pleasure then time spent with the ones we love!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect day! I'd love to look through an anthropolgie store. Your granddaughter looks like a little sweetheart. Beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't get much better! Made me miss my treks up the freeway to visit our son at Northwest College. Loved the area. Hmmm, maybe a trip north is in the near future! Thanks for sharing.

I just found your blog through Scripture & a Snapshot and I'm loving it! This picture of your granddaughter looking out at the water is beautiful! Kids are such a treasure!
ReplyDeleteOh my, Sunshine Girl just brought a few rays in here--she is so precious! So glad you got to have some "girlie" time with her and I bet Papa and grandson had a "whale" of a time also. your pics in red are just wonderful--your home is so, so peaceful--and your photography continues to amaze me--do you credit it to the a different camera (didn't you get a new camera a while back) or to Kim Klassen's classes or both or what? smile--I'm always looking to grow in that area especially--
