My second born daughter and grandbabies went back home to South Carolina early Sunday morning.
Handyman son-in-law is still here until tomorrow finishing up some jobs he had lined up in this area.
He’s also doing some minor handyman stuff for us while he’s here.
He’s repainting my front door and some outside trim and repairing a leak in our sprinkler system.
He also took down the ugly blinds on our sliding door, patched the holes it left in the wall, painted the curtain rod I’ve been saving for this project, and mounted it on the wall for me. YaY!
Double YaY when I found the curtains I wanted on clearance at Target for $14!
These are the same cotton sailcloth curtains I put in my bedroom, living room and dining room last summer when we painted and redid the flooring, only they weren’t on sale then.
I love their clean, white simplicity.
On another note, I painted ,(in such a way as to make them look highly distressed),
these two French sayings, “Peace of God” and “Joy of Living” a few weeks back.
I’m not sure if I’m lovin’ them…sometimes ideas come together and sometimes not!
Still following,
Elizabeth

Love the fresh, clean look of your new curtains. You've just inspired me - I know exactly what's wrong with the curtains on the sliding doors in my bedroom! I have the same rod. My curtains need those grommets added. That's it - I think I can do it! You always inspire me, my friend. Your home is a delight to see.
