There is nothing better than when the peace of God rules your mind and heart.
I pray this verse most every day, making it a declaration, speaking it out loud.
“You have given me Your peace…I will not let my heart be troubled or afraid…”
I’m reminding myself while praying it to God and declaring it to the enemy.
Did you know that when the Bible speaks of the Word being like a two-edged sword,
the word for two-edged can also mean two-mouthed?
I believe this is because the Word is a powerful weapon,
first spoken out of the mouth of God, and now spoken out of ours…two mouths, two-edged.
Let me encourage you to speak out the Word of God.
It’s a powerful weapon we should be using.
Still following,
Elizabeth

ReplyDeleteDear Elizabeth,
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to see this verse in the Amplified version. I used it in the NIV this week. I think God is preparing us for a whirlwind of some sort. He's reminding us we have Him and not to worry.
Thanks for your post,
Dawn
Elizabeth the Lord laid it on my heart to blog about that same verse this weekend and isn't it wonderful how He shows one person one thing about that verse and another something different. I love the thought of proclaiming that promise out loud each and every morning.

I really liked your explanation of the two mouths as the two-edged sword. God's and our's. To know that our voices linked together is strong and powerful. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteGreat peaceful photo, too.
Blessings,
Janis
From God's mouth to my ear, and my mouth, shared, in love, with others. :)
