Listening
I need to make it a habit
Not rushing through my Bible reading
my prayer list
then rushing on to my next thing to get done
Listening
Quieting my heart and mind
God reveals His secrets to His friends
Jesus tells us whatever the Father tells Him
How much have I missed
by rushing out of His Presence
I need to make it a habit
To be still
To be quiet
To listen
Still following,
Elizabeth
Lovely images, and a prayer that will serve us all!

ReplyDeletei think that is a habit we could all cultivate a bit more...it is def not a one sided conversation...
ReplyDeletethis listening, it can be scary for me. I'm afraid I will be stood up, afraid of what I hear, what I will assess of myself while I wait... so needed, no?
ReplyDeleteSo often I run away from the quiet, yet I know its necessity and power in my life. Beautiful post.
