With my mantel decorated for the Fourth, some of my summer mantel decor is now on my antique library table.
Above it hangs a photo canvas of a photo I took of the lighthouse at Popham Beach, Maine.
This lighthouse is near my Mama's hometown of Bath, Maine.
We drew a sketch of this lighthouse and had it engraved on Mama's gravestone with the verse, "The Lord is my Light and My Salvation."
On the photo canvas I put the words, "I want to sail the ocean of Your love. I want to feel the wind of your Spirit."
I love this canvas! My oldest daughter paid for me to have it done as my Christmas present.
My homemade driftwood sailboats sit on the old table, as well as apothecary jars filled with shells and driftwood, and my shell topped bottle.
Well, so far the Ecto blogging app is what I am using to blog on my new Macbook.
I'm slowly figuring it out, all except for why the lines are so far apart when I publish.
(Surely Apple can figure out a blogging app with the ease of Windows Live Writer!)
Still following,
Elizabeth
Perhaps try hitting the Apple + Enter for the spacing. Sometimes Apple has an automatic key stroke for the Enter key to equal two lines instead of one :)
ReplyDeleteLove your photo canvas. I've thought it would be a nice thing to do with a special photo. Don't worry about the spacing - the important think is that we get to visit YOU!

Yay! Glad you are having fun learning and figuring out things on your Mac!
ReplyDeleteLove the beauty and simplicity on your library table. The photo is beautiful - Maine has so many picturesque places.
