Friday Favs...a lazy day off

Last Friday's "date day", (the Hub's one day off a week),
turned into a "we're too tired and lazy to dress up and do much of anything day".
We stayed in our pjs 'til almost noon.
I puttered around the house, changing some things around on
I took my red transferware out of the dish cabinet and put them out in the open for all to see.
I figured Valentine's day will be here before you know it,
so some more peeks of red here and there seems appropriate.
I played with my camera and new 50mm lens,
taking photos while I was "puttering".
Eventually, we did actually leave the house to run a couple of errands
and then we walked around a local fitness trail together.
Overall, it was a lazy, uneventful day off.
Actually, it was practically perfect.

It's almost Friday, friends!
Have a HAPPY, HAPPY Friday
and
a BLESSED weekend!

  5. Love this dishes and the rack they are in! I keep trying to think of a what to keep dishes "out" in my kitchen, but I think I'd have to remove or re-do a cabinet...it's the only space available. Maybe some day! :)

  16. Putter days are wonderful. I have started collecting a bit of red transferware, thinking they would be my Christmas dishes. I love that you can show yours off like that. That entire shelving is fabulous with all the pretty things on it. :)

  21. Your transferware looks so pretty sitting out like that. I have been eyeballing red for a few years now, and this year I hope to get more of it. I love it.

And the Friday date day sounds restful and nice to me. Anything I do with the husband is date enough for me. (Well, maybe not quite everything, but you know what I mean.)
