I'm so thankful that we serve a God Who keeps His promises.
The Bible says that He's not like man, in that He never lies.
His timing may not be to our liking.
His answer to our request may sometimes be wait,
or even no if He sees that what we have requested is not His best for us.
But, God is always, always faithful and always true to His Word.
Still following,
Yes and amen. Beautiful photo.
ReplyDeleteAmen! Love that scripture. Your photo is beautiful and full of God's promise.
ReplyDeleteIf we only realized the far-reaching implications of that verse, it would set us on fire!
ReplyDeleteLove your photograph to illustrate it--
Hope your weekend is wonderful and your church reaches many people this weekend.
Love you!
Yes and Amen ! .. Praise the Lord oh my Soul !
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the Beauty of the Lord once again ..
Blessings ..Sara
Hi Elizabeth..a big 'yes and amen' from me as well!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I know all the science that explains the nature of a rainbow but my heart always thrills a bit when I see one knowing that God is faithful and true!
ReplyDeleteAdding to others...Yes and Amen! Thank you for this beautiful beginning to my morning. Blessings to you.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth, that rainbow is stunning. And a sign of God's covenant promises. What a reminder--thank you for sharing such beautiful truth.
ReplyDeletepowerful promises to be thankful for, beautiful picture.
ReplyDeleteWell, Elizabeth, you certainly got a lot of the same words, which I would have done, too. "Yes and AMEN!!!"
ReplyDeleteJust as Jody said, I'm also a big rainbow fan. Uganda, parts of our country, etc. Can never turn away. Fill my heart with joy and encouragement of our Lord's promise.
[BTW, can't never ever be at Olive Garden w/o thinking of you! What a joyful time ... and we had the same thing. Must be more alike than we ever woulda thunk.]
So thankful for HIs steadfast love and faithfulness! Have a beautiful week!
