Friday's Favs...Easy Fourth of July Banner


In our house, the stair landing is visible when you enter our front door, 
so I try to add a little touch of some seasonal decor there.


This is a quick and easy and inexpensive project...my favorite kind.
All you need is an old Probe game that no one plays anymore, that's what the letter cards come from.
It's quite common to find them at the Goodwill, so keep your eyes open for one.


Then, all you need is a hole punch and some sort of twine and you're all set!
Ten minutes later and voila!
The nice thing is, the letters can be used over and over again for other occasions.

    Very clever! Brings back memories, too. We used to play Probe...If I came across a game, I'm not sure I could punch holes in those cards :)

      We used to play Probe too, but I bought a Goodwill one just for the purpose of crafting.

    Loving it.
    I love anything with words spelled out. For some reason, that just jazzes me. (I'm embarrassed that I don't know what "Probe" is, but I'm still going to look for it.
