I am sharing this photo from a retreat to central Oregon with our church worship team.
I took this photo on our way here.
When I looked over my photos to decide what to post for this weekend,
I was immediately drawn to this particular photo and this exact verse.
I felt as though God wanted someone who sees this to know that He has not allowed you to encounter anything on the path that He has led you on that He won't give you the strength,
the assistance of His angel army
and the sure footedness to walk through.
Be encouraged and keep walking.
still following,
The mountain in the background is such a good reminder of our smallness and His care.
ReplyDeleteThanks, friend.
DeleteElizabeth, Wonderful picture and scripture. Your heart for the Lord's prompting inspires and blesses me.
ReplyDeleteCarol, you are a blessing as well! Isn't the family of God amazing!
DeleteThis verse is printed and in a frame on my quilt stand and I needed the reminder at this particular time. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteOh friend, you're a blessing. I'm glad I could bless you in this small way.

ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteNot to stand still in terror, but to walk...
ReplyDeleteI think most of our victory is found in simply putting one foot in front of the other and keeping on walking!
DeleteLove this, Elizabeth! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLynda, I hope this verse blessed you.

I love this verse, too, especially in the Amplified Version.
DeleteEncouraging and challenging - love this. Still walking, thank you! I hope you have a rich and restful time at your retreat!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comment Maureen! We had an amazing retreat.
DeleteThis one of my favorite Words...and especially in Amplified. AND it's one of Susie's favorites, too. And I posted about it a long time ago, but I used animals in the mountains connected to the Glacier NP. You'll grin if you have time to look.
