We're in that time of the year when indoor photography is even more challenging than normal,
especially on the gray and rainy days like today.
The entry hallway is especially challenging to capture.
So, I got out my tripod and practiced a bit.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, again, right?
The dining room is a lot easier to photograph with its large window and patio doors.
I love adding neutral colored autumn touches here and there around the house,
with just a few pops of autumn oranges, reds and yellows.
I'll show you later this week my new favorite bit of autumn color that I added to the living room.
still following,
Simple neutral autumn elements are a favorite look of mine too. My goodness, look at all your white dishes. They're so pretty in those stacks. I find photography more difficult this time of year too. Interior photography is not my friend :)
ReplyDeleteInterior photography is not my friend, either. You on the other hand, are my photography idol!
DeleteYour photography is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSandi, you're too kind. I still have so much to learn!
DeleteYour photos are really wonderful, Elizabeth!! I love your vignettes.
ReplyDeleteMary Alice
Mary Alice, I have such a long way to go and so much to learn about photography!
DeleteYour white pumpkin is eye-catching. Always enjoy your photos.
ReplyDeleteOh, you are so kind! I feel so amateurish compared to others. I'm still learning.
DeleteI love every bit of your neutral Fall! And I spied a sweet, new, little white piece on your shelf! Looks good. I need to get busy with my Fall décor. As you requested, I WILL share my mantel one of these days - I'm waiting for my sweetheart to get a box down from the attic for me. A couple of things are needed before it's all finished!

I am so looking forward to seeing it!
DeleteI love it all. I am a big neutral fall lover. I did so an orange themed mantel this year. I'm having trouble getting used to so much orange there, but I still like it so I'm leaving it. I wish I had more white pumpkins here. We don't have the real ones around here anywhere so I have to use faux. I'm actually considering painting a real orange one before it's too late.
ReplyDeleteI love your succulents in the white dishes. Just such a perfect touch.
I have a bit of orange going on too. I'll show that tomorrow!
DeleteYour camera lens is an eye to the beauty in your soul. The photography is stunning. I can feel the mugs cupped in my hands and the warmth of your home and heart. I love your beauty from here friend.
ReplyDeleteOh friend, I have so much to learn still!
