I'm sure your Christmas projects are all done for this year,
but maybe you'll want to try this easy project next Christmas.
All you have to do is find a suitably sized jar and some sort of cute ornament.
These little deer ornaments are from World Market,
I got them once the prices on all the Christmas stuff was marked down.
Then I cut the ornament hanger off of them with my kitchen shears.
Next, just gently place them in the jar and sprinkle in some "snow".
You can use fake snow, epsom salt or even, as in my case, some cheap kosher salt from the Dollar Tree.
Put the lid on, add a ribbon and you're done.
This next "snow globe" I did a bit differently.
I hot glued the church ornament and the "tree" to the inside of the lid.
Next I put my "snow" in the jar, screwed the lid on and set it on the shelf upside down.
Simple and and cute...
the kiddos could help you make these, as well!
still following,
Well aren't these the most darling things I've seen all day?!?! And did you get a new phone/i-pad? Thought I saw something new in a picture.... =]
