I could recognize my babies by the smell of their skin.
If you asked me to describe their scent it would be nearly impossible.
But you mamas and daddies know what I'm talking about.
Your kids have their own smell,
a scent unique to one of your children.
When Father God smells me, He smells Jesus.
He smells the scent of His Son,
a scent unique to one of His children.
He doesn't smell the mess I got into yesterday or last week,
He just smells His dearly loved child.
Isn't that amazing?
still following,
What a beautiful and inspired thought. I love this and know exactly what you are saying.
ReplyDeleteIt was an encouragement to me when I pondered it, too!
