This sentence from 1 Corinthians 13:12 in the Amplified Bible impacted me greatly this week.
You can read a bit more about that here.
In the meanwhile, take comfort in this truth.
Your Creator fully and clearly knows you,
understands you
and
loves you completely and wholeheartedly.
still following,
What a wonderful truth! To know God knows me, understands me - and still loves me!

Isn't that such a great comfort?
DeleteThe Amplified Bible is so powerful. Oh, He knows us. Praise His name.
ReplyDeleteI love my Amplified Bible. A woman who loves words loves the Bible that has the most words I suppose! HaHa!
DeleteI just went back and read your beautiful encounter with the pastor's wife. I loved that, and TODAY (in fact right NOW) I needed to read it and read the amplified scripture for today's post. Lately, I have been feeling so very disconnected and frustrated in my spiritual life because of some things out of my control. The teaching "fell like rain on a tender plant."
ReplyDeleteDebbie, it means the world to me that it bless you as it did me.
DeleteI need this today!!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Leslie
Leslie, I'm so glad it bless you as it did me!
DeleteAmen. I'll take it. Thank You, Jesus.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for the day that we know Him as well as He knows us!
DeleteLove it. Thank you!
ReplyDeletefully known, fully loved
ReplyDeleteunconditional!
Isn't it wonderful that He knows us so well and loves us still!
DeleteWe see through a veil for now. But He sees clearly now! Grateful for that.
ReplyDeleteI love how the Amplified Bible promises that one day we will know Him as fully and clearly as God knows us.
DeleteOh my, Elizabeth! This is a powerful post. Love it
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Lyli!
DeleteWhat a beautiful post. How beautiful that this woman would speak words of life into each one of you women attending the barbeque. How very precious that God saw & knew the very word you needed to hear. He fully knows us, even that which is deep in our hearts. So grateful you shared this today. It reminded me again of Hagar who knew that she had encountered "the God who sees me". Blessings!
ReplyDeleteEven when I don't quiet know and understand myself...thankful for His steadfastness knowledge that sees me more than I can.
ReplyDeleteYes, He does. And that's all I can rely upon, because I don't always see how our world and my life is growing and going. This was a good reminder, a great helper. Loved the Word and the photo was very well connected. Bless you, Elizabeth.
ReplyDeleteThis brings such comfort. Thank you. Hope you have had a blessed weekend.
ReplyDeleteHe knows and LOVES us even within the knowing he understands our thoughts. that is powerful.
