The challenge this week on Kim's Texture Tuesday is "color".
I chose my Cath Kidston mug and the first daffodil to bloom in our yard as my pops of color.

still following,
You do the loveliest things with your photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks, my friend!
DeleteLove it! And that book looks so neat!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sarah. The book is one of Susan Branch's lovely cookbooks.
DeleteYour daffodil is so pretty and the mug too. I bought daffodils at the grocery yesterday because I've never planted them.
ReplyDeleteI must investigate this photography trick of yours.
I love grocery store bouquets! I'm just a beginner at photo editing, but thanks for the compliment!
DeleteYour photos are just beautiful, Elizabeth! How wonderful to be seeing a sign of spring with pretty daffodils. I have a feeling we're going to have a late spring here in Virginia because of our extra cold winter. Not seeing any signs of daffodils or crocuses yet. :-(
ReplyDeleteMary Alice
Thanks, Mary Alice. We had a big snow in February but now we are surrounded by blooms and blossoms!
DeleteMy daffy are up but nowhere near blooming! I love your shot with the mug. And the quote is perfect for the seasons....as well as life!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Texture Tuesday.
The daffs are up all over in my neighborhood, but I think the moles ate the bulbs, as only one bloomed in my yard!
DeleteVery cherry. Love the color. DeAnne
ReplyDeleteThanks, DeAnne. So much photography inspiration in the spring time!
DeleteI love your sweet edits--

DeleteYou are the actually photography artist, my friend.
DeleteLove your first bloom photos! Isn't it amazing how delighted we are with just one spring bloom? Very nice on the journal too!
ReplyDeleteBeverly, lots of blooms and blossoms here in western Oregon already! The book is one of Susan Branch's lovely cookbooks.
DeleteBeautiful! Our daffs have leaves that are about 1/4 inch tall...that's all the far they are yet.
ReplyDeleteWestern Oregon is pretty moderate temps so lots of things are already in bloom. YaY!
Deletesuch a pretty set up with the daff and the journal
ReplyDeleteThanks Barbara! It's one of Susan Branch's beautiful books.
DeleteUmmm.. this is a perfect set for spring. You did it again!
