(scripture reference is 1 Corinthians 6:20)
Remembering the price He paid on this Good Friday.
I am His because He created me.
I am His because He redeemed me back from the enemy,
from my slavery to sin.
He is my Beloved Kinsman Redeemer.
Have a blessed Easter weekend.
Christ is risen!
He is risen indeed!
still following,
It. Is. Finished!
ReplyDeleteLove to you, Elizabeth.
Love to you, too, Sandra! God bless you!
DeleteWhy is it "kinsman" had so much more meaning in biblical times than it does today? - and it makes me so want to have that kind of relationship with God! So glad He claimed me as His kinsman so I could claim Him! Blessings to you this resurrection weekend!
ReplyDeleteI did a Precept's Bible Study on the Kinsman Redeemer and it was life changing! Jesus is our Kinsman Redeemer!
DeleteHe is risen indeed! Blessings on your Easter, Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteHope your day was blessed as well, June!
DeleteHe is risen indeed!
ReplyDeleteAMEN!! I was a horrific sinful person when He broke into my life 48 years ago, as I showed again on my blog re: my salvation. He is the One Who I can rely upon. I can love you, love my friends, love my husband, my kids and grandkids. BUT HE must be #1 or I wouldn't even be here. Thank so much. And BLESS you much!
ReplyDeleteBless you back, dear Joanne!
DeleteHe is risen indeed!
ReplyDeleteBought with a price - such a price he paid.
ReplyDeleteAmen to that. How can we not surrender to Him after all He's paid for us?
DeleteSo grateful for you my dear treasured friend. Love Jesus in you.
ReplyDeleteBack at you my sweet friend!!!

DeleteWhat a beautiful & stunning photo, Elizabeth. So grateful He calls me redeemed! Have a most blessed Easter!
ReplyDeleteI did a Precept's Bible Study on Ruth about Kinsman Redeemer and how Jesus fully fulfilled being that for us. It's an amazing study!
Deletesinging this with you this Resurrection morning...do you know it (from Ron Kenoly)? Happy Resurrection Day!
ReplyDeleteHallelujah
Jesus is alive
Death has lost its victory
And the grave has been denied
Jesus lives forever
He's alive! He's alive!
That's a great song!
DeleteHe is risen and He lives!!! I am rejoicing that the darkness has passed and the light of all Jesus promises is here! Easter blessings! Mary
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mary. I'm rejoicing with you!
DeleteHi Elizabeth~I'm next to you at Sunday Stillness and always like stopping by here. The photo is beautiful. A life-size way of the cross. Where did you find it. On Good Friday, it seemed the darkness was broken through by late afternoon here in the desert~and I felt so close to Jesus. Then the expectations and hope placed in others for a joyful Easter crumbled like stone grinding upon stone. Hoping I can dig out today and find the Easter joy. Your Bible Study sounds interesting. Which one was it?
ReplyDeleteGlad your Easter brought you Resurrection joy!
Janis
This statue is in The Grotto in Portland. It's a Catholic place and although I'm not Catholic it's still a place of sweet peace to visit.
DeleteOh friend, it's been a busy week. I am thankful that He came, and continues to come for me. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteYes and Amen to that, Barbie.
