I've been lazy when it comes to changing things up around the house this summer!
I did take a moment to add a few beach-y touches to the top of the old wooden cubby in my living room.
And I added a few shells and starfish to my mantel that has stayed pretty much the same
since my Memorial Day mantel blog post.
I've been too busy savoring this beautiful summer.
All too soon I'll be doing my big fall cleaning and purging.
(I try to do that every fall and spring.)
It's almost Friday, friends!
Another summer week is about to come to an end.
Summer is zooming by all too fast!
I hope you have a
HAPPY, HAPPY Friday
and
a BLESSED weekend!
So pretty! I love your collection of hobnail glass. Is that what it's called?
ReplyDeleteStacey, yes, it's hobnail milk glass...almost all pieces are from the Goodwill! :)
DeleteYou are right, dear Elizabeth, summer is slipping through our fingers like grains of sand... I love the shells and the starfish on your mantel! Did you paint them in blue! Thank you very much for always showing support and encouragement on my blog. I appreciate your vote!
ReplyDeleteSylvia, the starfish actually is that color, at least that is what I was told when I bought the shell.
DeleteI've been so lazy about decorating this summer. Actually, more just busy in other ways. But your spaces always look so lovely. Pretty touches! Thanks for sharing at Fridays Unfolded!

Thank you, Allison! I hope you are enjoying your summer.
DeleteYour lazy looks like my ambitious these days. I am too pooped to piddle, I guess. I love the crisp whiteness of this. I always think of whites when I think of your style. (Right before I try to copycat it.)
ReplyDeleteYou make me smile!
DeleteI love summer and I agree, it's going too fast! I always enjoy pics of your decor :)

Still working at catching up! I love your 'summer' look, dear friend. I haven't done much to bring summer into my house this year. To much else going on - but I love opening doors and windows and letting summer come right on it when the breezes blow! Love your growing milk glass collection.
