A friend from church buys flowers for the foyer table each Sunday.

This week she gave them to me after church.

Mums and roses in fall colors, so lovely.
I'm blessed to be able to enjoy them in my home!

still following,
I'm a lover of textures that are easy to see...and I LOVE your last image of the mums, especially. I'm holding on to summer as long as I can, although we had 4 nights of temperatures in the high 20's....and the delicate, susceptible flowers are no more. That included my 8 dahlia plants, which hadn't bloomed yet! I think I might have saved two smaller plants...I hope.
ReplyDeleteWhen I edited the photos the last photo of the mums was my least favorite, but it's growing on me! It's been so hot and dry here and we are smelling the smoke from the forest fire southeast of Portland. The nights and mornings are cool, however, so I do know that fall is almost here.
DeleteBeautiful fall colors! I love the composition and texture of your last image.
ReplyDeleteMichelle, I just told Evelyn, in the comment above yours, that it was my least favorite when I edited the photos, but it's growing on me!
DeleteGorgeous image - I love the fall colors!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteAbsolutely beautiful photography and your texture work is spot on!
ReplyDeleteWow! Thank you for your generous encouragement! I'm not too much into the technical aspects of editing and do what appeals to me creatively.
DeleteOh, what a beautiful arrangement! I love those colours. All your images are wonderful, but I think my favourite is the last one. Or maybe the second last one!
ReplyDeleteJill, the last one, the one I thought was not my best, is everyone's fav! Funny how that happens.
DeleteThe yellow roses are all kinds of lovely and they look great against the white mums.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I'm blessed to have been given them!
DeleteSuch pretty flowers and a special place to receive them from. Lovely. The last one with the editing, they look like they're silk flowers. Was nice to see your visit to my page. Always love getting visitors and then I can come enjoy their blog. :)
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you popping in to my place! Thanks for the encouraging comment as well.
DeleteSuch a beautiful fall arrangement.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for coming by!
