Often it's the simplest and easiest things I like the best.
Like one white pumpkin placed on an old stool.
How about a wee coral squash on top of an old scale,
or a wicker pumpkin in an ironstone bowl.
Maybe add a simple Autumn greeting to a chalkboard or add a green pumpkin-like squash to a shelf.
An autumn themed sign to hang above your window is a nice touch.
The Nester says it doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful.
It doesn't have to be complicated either!
It's almost Friday, friends.
Have a HAPPY, HAPPY Friday
and
a safe and BLESSED weekend.
I love the way you add touches of the season here and there. It's just right - and perfect! I'm home after several days at the coast with my dear college friend. She has safely arrived at her home and I feel the change of seasons deep in my soul! I'm ready to fully embrace the season and make changes in my house. I can't wait to see what I come up with - and, once again, you are an inspiration.

DeleteI love your easy autumn changes--those are the best kind I think--they look really natural and not contrived--!
ReplyDeleteThanks, friend. A few years ago I think I cured myself of "over fall decorating" when my home looked like a riot of orange!

ReplyDeleteI love the way you decorate! Always beautiful. I'm hoping this fall to add a few touches to our home. I purchased The Nester's book because I've heard so many fabulous things about it. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful...adding some fall touches to our home this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the latest touches to your home! The white pumpkin on the stool is perfect!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend, Elizabeth!
Love the naturals and the different textures and colors of your pumpkins. Such a pretty fall from a pretty blog. I'm excited to have found another sister in Christ. Hope we can get to know each other. I have two blogs, one is mostly just me and my loves and the other is about my journey with depression and God's grace to carry me. Hope you'll follow along.
