When we were on vacation last week, I gathered some of nature's treasures on our walks.

Then when we get home, I put the juniper in a glass bottle,
and added the dried flowers to an arrangement on the mantel.
It's a beautiful way to remember a wonderful time in a lovely place.
(The smell of the juniper is what the air smells like in central Oregon. Heavenly.)

DeleteLove all your treasures especially the dried flowers you used on the mantel--but my oh my, that first photo is to die for--love the composition, the cool, delicate look of the glass even though the photo is very inviting and warm--all things love about this!

DeleteYour Central Oregon treasures are wonderful! I grew up there and I've never forgotten the smell of juniper berries. They seem to call me 'home' whenever we head that way. Your Fall look is great! I need to get my home changed for the season after I get back from a campout soon.
