still following,
Just lovely. I bought a bag of Pacific Rose apples yesterday and thought of you. ;) And here you are posting photos of apples.
ReplyDeleteAh, that's sweet that you thought of me!
DeleteYou're right. The simplest things make the prettiest pictures! Lovely, Elizabeth.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Julie!
Deletei love apples .. lately we've been devouring a frightening amount of honeycrisp apples .. with goat cheese, crackers, in smoothies, made into a yummy topping with cinnamon over oatmeal, or plain (just the fruit).
ReplyDeleteoh... and with an aged english cheddar (my favorite!!)
DeleteOh, all of your ideas are so yummy!
DeleteYou are right - the simplest, everyday things make beautiful pictures. And your images are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteOh my, that second picture looks like I could just reach out, grab it, and take a big ole crunchy bite--love, love, love!
ReplyDeleteThanks, sweet friend!
DeleteI'll look for a follow-up post with a recipe for those veggies in a stew! It's cold here in Virginia and I'm seeking those comfort foods - vegetable stew and baked apples - inspired by your beautiful photos. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Donna! The recipe for the stew is already on my blog. Just look on the side bar and click on Homemade Beef Stew.
DeleteThat is a pretty bowl-the dark shows off the apples beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI do love my Ghanian bowl! Thanks for coming by!
DeleteOh my, those apples look like a painting! Lovely texturing. I so really love the bowl too!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Lisa!
DeleteI really like that last shot of the veggies --just the perfect amount of light from your light source (the window?). Conjures up an image of a well-lit kitchen. :)
ReplyDeleteThe light is from the window over the kitchen sink. Thanks so much for your kind encouragement!
DeleteThe focus on that beautiful rich detailed bowl is just gorgeous, each one of your images are top notch and sigh....lovely. Love the vegetables.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Barbara!
