Two days ago I wrote a post about my desire to get rid of excess stuff and to simplify.
Here's my problem,
I love bits and bobs of interesting things!
My collections include things like old clocks, old crocks, old french mustard jars,
and ironstone.
Some of these bits and bobs reside in my old wooden cubby in the living room.
(These are my husband's boots from when he was a toddler. Aren't they cute?)
Some of my collectibles are in this other little cubby in the hallway.
My point?
I'm not a very good minimalist.
It's almost Friday, friends!
Have a HAPPY, HAPPY, Friday
and
a safe and BLESSED weekend!

I just love your eye for collecting those bibs and bobs. I agree, I like to declutter and simplify, but I can't help collecting a few things here and there. When I add, I try to rehome something else. Thanks for sharing at Fridays Unfolded!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I try to do to Alison. Out with the old before adding more!
DeleteI love, love, love these! My favorite is your husband's baby boot. I wouldn't dare get rid of a single thing--they're heart treasures.
ReplyDeletePermission to keep my bits and bobs...YAY!
DeleteI just found your lovely blog on Shabbilicious Friday! I love it and you curate your home just perfect. Don't change a thing. Hugs Jo
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! What a blessing your words are to me.
