When the grandkids have a summer sleepover at our house, I like to make something special for breakfast.
Who doesn't love homemade waffles, fresh berries and lightly sweetened whipped cream?
For the waffle batter combine:
1/2 cup milk,
1/2 cup plain greek or regular yogurt,
1 beaten egg,
1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
Top the waffles with your favorite fresh berries or sliced peaches and whipped cream.
(Whip one cup cold whipping cream with 1 heaping tablespoon powdered sugar
and 1 teaspoon good vanilla.)
Enjoy!
It's almost Friday, friends.
Have a HAPPY, HAPPY Friday
and
a safe and BLESSED weekend!
i'm assuming there's no leftovers. ;)
