God wants the inner me to be clothed with peace and gentleness, not anxiety, not being wrought up, (which means agitated, stressed, tense, overwrought, nervous, on edge, keyed up, worked up, flustered, fretful or upset). Let's face it, that's easier said than done when life is chaotic or stressful or when we are walking through times of trial and tribulation. (please join me for the rest of this post on Sunday, October 25th, at Woman to Woman Ministries where I write a weekly Sunday Soul Food post.)
still following,
Also happily linking up with the lovely Lisha Epperson

Heading over to check out your guest post! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Michele!
DeleteI'm learning to simply stop the thought when I feel tense or anxious. Then pray. Often the most stress I feel is getting from point A to B in the car! Prayer for His protection helps and is a better example to the four pairs of eyes (and ears) with me :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a good piece of wisdom!
DeleteAs usual, you did beautifully and grabbed a lot of attention. Thank you so much! LOVE the photo and the Word and the piece of explanation you added. Bless you, Elizabeth. Sure love and miss you!!
