"When upon life’s billows you are tempest-tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord has done.
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord has done.
- Refrain:Count your blessings, name them one by one,Count your blessings, see what God has done!Count your blessings, name them one by one,*Count your many blessings, see what God has done."Count Your Blessings by Johnson Oatman, Jr.
During our move I unearthed a gift certificate from my husband for Lindsay Letters that I had forgotten about.
I went online and ordered something lovely to hang on the wall,
and had some money leftover so I bought this cup.
If you have read my blog for any length of time, you know that I've been keeping a gratitude journal since 2009.
Each week I publish a gratitude post of the blessings I've written in my journal the week before.
Nurturing an attitude of gratitude has been life changing for me,
so of course I couldn't resist this cup with its reminder to start the day with gratitude...
and a strong cup of coffee doesn't hurt either!
(edited with Kim Klassen's elevate texture, lighten, 20% opacity)
still following,
That's a nice reminder to start every day... and nice photos as well.

DeleteThat's a great cup - and a great quote. And there is so much to be grateful for and writing it down means you appreciate so much more #LTTL
ReplyDeleteThat's true, Stephanie!
DeleteI like the font used on the cup as well as the shape of it. Cranberry Autumn coffee sounds delicious to me...or tea would be good too!

DeleteThat's a great cup to begin your day with! You've been keeping your gratitude journal a long time. Good for you! I hope you're getting settled in your new home and enjoying the process of decorating it just the way you want.
ReplyDeleteSharon, the changes to our new to us home are taking place more slowly than I'd like, since I'd prefer to magically have them all finished immediately!
DeleteMy day usually starts with the gym!
ReplyDeleteMollyxxx
That's a great habit, too!
DeleteYep, I stepped away from counting for a bit thinking I did not need it any more. LOL, was I wrong! So, I headed right back and man my outlook on life lifted right up. I think I might need that cup, so fun.
