Holly and pinecones...

(edited with Kim Klassen's elevate texture, lighten, 30% opacity)

Living in the Pacific Northwest, it's easy to find holiday decor right outside.
Fragrant cedar, fir and pine boughs can be foraged from our abundant evergreen trees
as well as pine and fir cones.
Holly is relatively easy to find as well.

"The holly bears a berry
As red as any blood
And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ
To do poor sinners good"~

I couldn't resist a little still life photo fun with some holiday decor from nature,
with a bit of lovely Christmas light bokeh thrown in for good measure.

  12. I used to take boughs off my fur tree and holly bush in Germany. I kind of miss the yearly trimmings. Merry Christmas friend. Lisa #LTTL
