It's amazing what some clean, bright, white paint can do.
When we moved into our new to us house in September,
we had a lot of chaos, renovations and updates happening up until the holidays.
Then we took a house project break that lasted through my trip to Nicaragua at the beginning of March.
One of the team members on my trip was a friend, and painting contractor,
so we hired him to begin our next house project after the trip.
Our house had off white trim, molding and doors inside.
It looked dirty-ish yellow.
So we had our friend paint all of the molding, trim and doors bright white.
What a world of difference a little paint can make!
See that beautiful clean, bright white windowsill?
I LOVE it!
On another note, I also seem to have a new infatuation for every random little two buck house plant
I see when I go into the grocery store.
Like some people take in stray pets, I take in stray plants.
I think it may be a spring thing, my desire for a touch of green in every room.
White paint isn't just my friend when it comes to house trim.
A too new looking clay pot painted with some white craft paint,
then the excess wiped off with a damp paper towel,
suddenly takes on the aged and well loved look I prefer.
Hello, cute, little green fern.
Would you like to come home with me?
Look at that beautiful white door!
That philodendron by the door must be almost four decades old.
Seriously, this is the plant anyone can keep alive.
Trust me, all the little green plants I buy have to be cheap,
since my odds of keeping them alive aren't the greatest.
Except for this old, faithful philodendron.
More pretty white trim on our kitchen nook windows.
Love, love, love!
Succulents.
Anyone is supposed to be able to grow them.
Wish me, and them, luck.
