One of the gifts that I received from my husband for Christmas was a new Nikkor 40mm 2.8 prime lens. I've enjoyed playing with it. Today I took a few moments before I began the busyness of the day to capture the beauty that can be found in my own backyard even in the bleakness of winter. (All three photos were edited with Kim Klassen's Monday texture.)
still following,
Beautiful! You would have had a great time in my aunt and uncle's winter garden with your new lens.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Barbie!
DeleteBeautiful photos and beautiful editing. I so enjoyed getting Kim's free textures few years back. A new lens would be awesome. Looks like it works great. :)

ReplyDeleteThese were fun to play with!
DeleteYour photography is wonderful, Elizabeth. I always love to see it. And you use Kim's textures beautifully. I have drifted away from texture edits, and I think I want to return. :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, I still don't have Lightroom so I use what I have.
DeleteVery nice winter captures! I like to find flowers that are 'past their prime' but won't let go of the original shape, like the hydrangea.
ReplyDeleteI do, too!
DeleteSo lovely! Love all the texture work!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Kelleyn!
