Life is busy lately! I keep thinking that after this event or that project it will slow down, but it just hasn't happened. However, today there is nothing scheduled on the calendar. I'd love to enjoy it and be completely lazy except there's this little thing called taxes that I should work on. BLECH! My least favorite task of the year. How can I offer up to God thanksgiving about something I dread and detest doing? Well, I can thank Him for the deductions that the government still allows us. That's my little sacrifice of praise today. What can you find to give a sacrifice of praise for today?

Since 2009 I've been counting my blessings thanks to the prompting of Ann Voskamp.
I continue to count my thanks
piling up gratitude day by day
in my journal.

DeleteA full and blessed week! Yup, taxes are on my list too, blah.
ReplyDeleteI think everyone dreads doing taxes!
DeleteI'm thankful Hubby handles the taxes, I wouldn't know where to begin. - What a lovely couple, weddings are so special. I want those strawberries, and I love that you called the moon, "the fingernail" moon as that's what I've always called it during that phase. Very enjoyable post.
