Blessed life...

If I judge the faithfulness of God or His blessing on my life by what I'm feeling or the circumstances of any given moment, well, I suppose it would be a wild ride of, "I'm so blessed" one moment, and "woe is me" the next.  Life has its ups and downs and highs and lows, sometimes all on the same day. I can't judge God's faithfulness solely on the list of blessings I write in my gratitude journal.  I AM BLESSED and GOD IS FAITHFUL. Period. On the best days and on the worst days. He is with me through them all.  He is my strength and sustainer, my joy and delight, my hope and my help, on the best of days and on the worst.  Because of that, because I am His, not just because of this list of blessings, I live a blessed life.

-the lilac garden, the park, and Dairy Queen with the three youngest grands

-going to the movies with the grand girlies
-sleeping with the windows open, listening to the frogs
