thanks forever...

What a busy, rich and full week it's been!  There is a lot of anticipation of our sixth grandchild's, (another grandson!), imminent birth, and a "false alarm" this week when the doctor thought perhaps he might need to come early.  Our two grandsons both celebrated birthdays.  Yesterday we had a gathering of the whole family to celebrate Mother's Day and the May birthdays in our family. As always, I've got so much to be thankful for!

Since 2009 I've been counting my blessings thanks to the prompting of Ann Voskamp.
I continue to count my thanks
piling up gratitude day by day
in my journal.

  4. It's been so long since I've been here--or blogged--and it's great to visit. I love that you are still keeping a day of listing your gratitudes. I think I'd like to do that again.

I'm still making your Frittata when friends come and they love it. Hope you've made the Meatball Stroganoff and enjoyed it.

I have a post up this week about a friend of mine who cooks with her grand kids each week while she watches them. They're 4 and younger. She had a Mother's Day Extravaganza that she taught them to bake. I'm sure you'd love reading her story. Her cooking adventures are called "Cooking with Woo Woo." Reminds me of something you would do, Elizabeth.

Hope to share more here together.
    Blessings,
    Janis

  6. More catching up with your gratitude list. So many blessings. I spent Mother's Day morning in a tiny church on the Navajo reservation near the Grand Canyon! We sang along in Navajo and loved meeting the dear folks there. Our hearts were touched and we want to go back again. It was a special Mother's Day - the first my dear mother spent in Heaven - and I was able to be dear Navajo mothers to celebrate.
