As summer draws near, at our new to us house, we are already beginning some big house projects.
(We moved in two years ago this coming September.)
Outside my husband and some friends have been pulling out more old and overgrown shrubs from our flowerbeds, putting up some new fencing, and are getting ready to expand our patio space.
I'm hoping that my hydrangea will bloom more heartily now that it isn't being overcrowded by other shrubs.
Also, happening this summer, our kitchen updates are finally happening.
It's time for our kitchen to come out of 1992 and into 2017!
I've chosen and ordered our new quartz kitchen countertops.
A fun new backsplash will be installed.
Our oak cabinets will be painted white and updated with some fun changes.
I'm excited!
still following,
I love hydrangea but have had no luck growing it. So I'm doubly glad you shared these photos at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2017/06/pretty-view-in-ladies-loo.html
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sue!
DeleteUntil the last few years has my love for the hydrangea grown. Maybe I had just never seen it that much before, and wish I had before I decided no more flower beds...only planters in my future. Yours is lovely, and since they make a beautiful cutting, I may have to change my mind and get one. Remodel sounds so nice. :)

Hi Pea bea, I have a hydrangea in a large pot--so you don't have to break your rule. :-)
DeleteLarge pots can hold lots of things! I want to try growing raspberries in one. I have two friends who have done that.
DeleteThose are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteLovely blooms, wonderful captures.

Thank you, Erica!
DeleteEach year my hydrangeas (and other plants) bloom more and more.
ReplyDeleteYour kitchen remodel sounds lovely! We managed new counters and a new backsplash this past year (maybe longer), but my husband won't let me paint the oak cabinets, so it's still pretty dated.
I'm excited to get ours painted!
DeleteYour blue hydrangea are just so lovely! I hope you get lots done this summer and enjoy the process!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for all of our projects to get done. The messy process isn't my favorite!
DeleteThere is something about that pale blue color I just love. Great arrangement and photos.
ReplyDeleteI love the color as well!
DeleteIt sounds wonderful! I do love that color of hydrangea...I bought a blue plant in The Dalles on one of our Portland trips after the first grandbaby was born....bought a pink one, too. I doubt that they are hardy enough to grow here, but I think I'll put them in big pots and see.
ReplyDeleteI'll be interested to see how they do in your climate there.
DeleteBeautiful images of this delicate flower

Thank you, Molly!
DeleteSounds exciting! Can't wait to see the changes! Don't forget the Before pictures. :-) Your hydrangeas are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI will definitely post before and afters!
DeleteSuch pretty hydrangeas!
ReplyDeleteI love hydrangea!
DeleteSounds beautiful, we did small kitchen and bath renovation when we before we moved into our home 2 years ago. It was really a quick fix before the baby came. I'd really like to do it completely next Spring! P.S. I'm a sucker for hydrangeas and these are stunning!!
ReplyDeleteThe blue hydrangea is my favorite of the hydrangea's. There's just something about the blue ones. Lovely captures!
ReplyDeleteThe changes sound exciting. I can't wait to see the transformation!
