Summer thanksgiving...

Summer is flying by! We've had a lot going on, such as the usual busyness of ministry and family life and two major house projects. A new and improved very large patio is completed and updates to our kitchen are in process. We are still managing to savor some of the sweetness of summer and spending time with the grandkids when we can. You'll notice one such day tucked into this week's gratitude list.  We took an afternoon to "play hooky" and to spend a few hours picnicking and kayaking with some of our family.

Since 2009 I've been counting my blessings thanks to the prompting of Ann Voskamp.
I continue to count my thanks
piling up gratitude day by day
in my journal.
(and capturing some of my blessings via my camera or iPhone)
