Yesterday I accidentally washed my Fitbit in my leaky washing machine. Today my dryer quit heating. There are so many things that I'd rather spend money on than replacing my fitness tracker or buying a new washer and dryer. (Ours are too old to bother to repair anymore.) In spite of those kinds of bumps in the road, my heart is full of gratitude today. God is so good, so faithful, so kind. There is just so much to be thankful for if I only keep my eyes and heart open to see.

Since 2009 I've been counting my blessings thanks to the prompting of Ann Voskamp.
I continue to count my thanks
piling up gratitude day by day
in my journal.
(and capturing some of my blessings via my camera or iPhone)

DeleteOh that picture of the youngest grandson really got me! I can't wait to meet our first grandchild in January! What an amazing feat that you are over 10,000 graces and counting. "God is so good, so faithful, so kind. There is just so much to be thankful for if I only keep my eyes and heart open to see." You've definitely kept your heart and eyes open! Blessings to you.
ReplyDeleteYou are going to be one awesome Grandma! And you will love grandparenting!
