Mid-Winter signs of Spring...

We are only about halfway through winter. Yet, on a recent walk, I couldn't help noticing the signs of new life and the inevitability of the arrival of spring, mixed in with the obvious signs that it is still winter. (All photos taken with my iPhone 7plus.)

      Yes, we have. Who knows what this month could bring however since winter isn't over yet!

    I am HOPEFUL that Spring arrives before schedule. It's only been a while since Winter started, but I'm ready. No snowy icy roads...no real hard rains...just nice weather. :) Enjoyed seeing some Spring color in your photos. Thanks.

      We had a bit of snow on Christmas eve, but none since.We could get more before the winter is over, but so far the weather has been pretty mild.

    Your photos are gorgeous! Signs of Spring are all around us here, too. I'm loving the idea that it won't be long before things break into bloom and our world is filled with color again.

      Oh, Carol! You should get to see the PNW in all of it's spring beauty! Have you ever gone to the Hood River valley when you are out here? You should! The orchards will be in bloom in April!

    This makes me miss the PNW! Lovely! Today we actually have sun and I am soaking it up. i just stood with my face towards the sun for a good 15 minutes this morning. trying to drink it all in.

    Great pics! Amazing how far technology has come when phone photos these days look like they've been taken with a DSLR, isn't it?

      True, and it's hard to go on a brisk walk with a dslr hanging around your neck, but I have my phone with me anyway since I listen to music.
