The spring branches that my neighbor had pruned off of their tree and that I grabbed from their refuge pile to use in an impromptu centerpiece bloomed beautifully over the weekend!
They are so lovely and make me happy each time I look at them. Unfortunately they are already beginning to wilt a bit so I'll only be able to enjoy them for another day or two.I'll have to remember and enjoy them through these photos.
still following,
These blooms are just gorgeous. It's amazing the difference between the bus and the blooms. We got some snow yesterday so it's so refreshing to see these pretty pink blooms....
ReplyDeleteOur whole neighborhood is abloom with flowering trees. I love it so much!
DeleteYou are so clever. Such a lovely color. Never dreamt you could do that from the cuttings, but then I really don't know that much about plants and flowers.
ReplyDeletePeabea from Pictorial Tuesday
If you being a spring branch full of buds indoors into the warm and give it water it will usually bloom...rather like forcing a bulb to bloom indoors in the winter. To me it's magical.
DeleteI love your centerpiece! So pretty! How fun that you were able to use your neighbor's refuge in a beautiful way! <3.
ReplyDeleteWith Love,
