The last two weeks were full and busy with a house full of family, the busy preparations for a big Thanksgiving dinner and the day itself of feasting and family time. For every sweet moment we had together I am so very thankful. The house is now back to being quieter and cleaner with just my husband and I at home. I am thankful for this as well. It isn't one or the other-it's both. In good times, with my family all gathered near, in the hard times, when we are far apart from one another, God is still good, He is still at work in our lives, He is still with us and there is always so much to be thankful for.

Since 2009 I've been counting my blessings thanks to the prompting of Ann Voskamp.
I continue to count my thanks,
piling up gratitude day by day in my journal.
(and capturing some of my blessings via my camera or iPhone)
